Digipak
CD Case
The main differences I can see between a digipak and a CD case are that digipaks contain anywhere from 4-6 sides, whereas a CD case on has two. The build, quality and materials seem to be a lot more superior, giving the overall look a more impressive image. The design often includes a lot more images, adding to the sophistication of the product, making it more unique. The digipak sometimes includes special features like a poster, calendar or a booklet about the production of the album adding to the overall value of the product. They tend to be more expensive, however exclusive.
In my digipak case, I need to include:
- Six panels with relevant, attention seeking pictures.
- Have at least one photo with the main character/band on it.
- Add a poster, calendar or a booklet about the production of the music video.
- Add relevant titles, headings and special mention on the back.
